The Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industries says nothing could prevent the development of trade relations between Tehran and Moscow.

“Moscow will continue its trade cooperation with Iran and no problem can deter the development of trade relations between the two countries,” head of the Foreign Relations Department at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industries Vladimir Padalko said on Tuesday.

Pointing to the US-led sanctions against Iran, the Russian official stressed that Moscow observes the situation and does not allow cooperation between the two countries to decrease.

The United States, Israel and some of their allies have repeatedly accused Iran of pursuing non-civilian objectives in its nuclear energy program.

The US and European Union have used this allegation as excuse to impose international and unilateral sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

Iran refutes the West's allegation and argues that as a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), it is entitled to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
