Mojtaba Amani, who heads Iran's interests section in Cairo, will also accompany Amir Abdollahian in Al-Sisi's swearing-in ceremony.
Al-Sisi sent an invitation letter to Iran on Tuesday to invite President Hassan Rouhani to his inauguration ceremony.
The invitation was submitted by Head of Egypt's Interests Section in Tehran Khalid al-Said Ibrahim Amari to President Rouhani's Chief of Staff Mohammad Nahavandian on Tuesday.
On Saturday, Egypt’s Presidential Spokesman Ehab Badawi the invitation to President Rouhani.
Al-Sisi, took the oath of office before the High Constitutional Court on Sunday morning to become Egypt's ninth president.
No foreign guest is normally invited to the swearing-in ceremony before the High Constitutional Court, where only senior Egyptian officials are allowed to be present.
The inauguration ceremony will be followed by a reception at Cairo's Ittihadiya Palace to be attended by heads of state, ministers and diplomats. A second reception will be held in Cairo’s Quba Palace with guests from different political groups. But, Muslim Brotherhood, the main opposition to Al-Sisi, will certainly be absent in this second reception as most of its leaders and members are either in prison or have been sentenced to capital punishment.
A large number of world leaders from Africa, Europe and Asia, including Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah, Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, will be among the top officials attending the Ittihadiya celebrations.
Other guests of the Egyptian president's inauguration ceremony include Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu and Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani.
