Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has been optimistic about prospect of the nuclear talks between Iran and 5+1 Group and evaluated progress of the talks as good, according to an MP.

Hossein Garousi told IRNA that Zarif showed up in general assembly of Majlis Fraction of Velayat Followers on Tuesday to present a report on the trend of the nuclear negotiations.

He quoted Zarif as saying that despite the obstacles and propaganda, the talks are moving forward at a good pace.

Garousi, who represents Shahriar in Majlis, said that foreign minister described the path created for interaction with other countries is irreversible, given Iranˈs rationality and logic.

Recent developments in Iraq and emergence of Daesh terror group in the region were among the other topics discussed with Zarif.

They all underlined that Daesh terrorists are out to make the region insecure.
