Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham voiced Tehran's concern over the ongoing incidents in the holy Quds, in Palestine, and warned against the repercussions of closing Al-Aqsa Mosques' entrances to Muslims by Israeli forces.

Afkham condemned the Israeli's plot of preventing Muslim worshipers to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

She warned about the dangerous aftermaths of adopting such measures.

Afkham has also asked the regional nations not to remain silent over these treacherous acts.

Jerusalem has been the scene of fierce clashes between the Israeli forces and the Palestinians in recent days, as Tel Aviv has repeatedly imposed restrictions on worshippers entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
