Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a speech in Mumbai, India, on Thursday described the relations between Tehran and New Delhi as deeply-rooted.

Following his arrival in Mumbai, Zarif attended a gathering of Iranian and Indian businessmen and entrepreneurs and delivered a speech on age-old Iran-India relations and their deeply-rooted trade and economic relations.

He also met with the European Union Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell and his Australian counterpart Marise Payne in New Delhi.
