Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held talks in Doha on Tuesday.

Elaborating on the objectives of his trip to Qatar, Amirabdollahian said he would discuss bilateral, regional, and international issues with the Emir of Qatar and his Qatari counterpart.

He stressed that his trip to Oman and Qatar were in line with reinforcing neighborliness policy which is on the agenda of the 13th government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He also referred to the opportunities in Qatar, like the World Cup, saying that Iran is ready to provide Qatar with technical and engineering services in this regard.
