Nordwind Airlines, a Russian leisure airline, has announced that the company will launch its direct flights between Tehran-Saint Petersburg as of June 1.

Nordwind Airlines declared on its Telegram channel on Friday that the flights will be carried out from Pulkovo Airport in Saint Petersburg to Tehran and vice versa.

The flights are parts of the airlines program in spring and summer, which will be conducted once a week on Thursdays.

Earlier, Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali told IRNA that the Russians were keen on increasing direct flights between Russia and different tourism destinations in Iran.
