Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kan'ani slammed the Israeli regime's attack on Gaza's al-Shifa Hospital.

"The Zionist regime’s barbarism and savagery in the #Gaza_Strip continue before the eyes of the whole world, and after 167 days of non-stop war against the #Gaza Strip, the international forums are standing by with their hands tied and have sufficed to expressing their positions and views!" Kan'ani wrote in a post on X on Thursday.

Since the onset of the war against the Gaza Strip, 31,923 Palestinian people have been martyred 74,096 have been injured and over 72 percent of the victims are women and children, the senior Iranian diplomat added.

"One of the harrowing news these days is the siege on #Al-Shifa_Hospital in #Gaza by the occupying Zionist army for the fourth consecutive day. The regime’s troops blew up the specialized clinic of al-Shifa Hospital this morning and completely demolished it!" Kan'ani stressed.

History cannot find words and is unable to describe all this blatant and reckless brutality and ferocity before the eyes of the international community, Kan'ani cited.

He added that the backers and those who are silent in the face of all the brutality and ferocity should be ashamed of themselves and the world community should come up with an emergency plan to get the United Nations and its Security Council that have been taken hostage by the US and the Zionist regime released.
