Iran FM Araghchi departs for Cairo to attend D-8 meeting

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, heading a high-ranking delegation, left Tehran for Cairo on Tuesday evening, to participate in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization of the Eight Developing Islamic Countries known as D-8.

The 21st Council of Foreign Ministers meeting of the D-8 will be held one day before the D-8 summit to finalize the summit's documents.

The 11th summit of the D-8 will take place on Thursday, December 19, 2024, with the attendance of the presidents from the eight participating countries, including the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian
