Khosravinejad has held separate meetings in the capital of Burkina Faso with Bakary Yaou Sangaré, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Niger, and Abdoulaye Diop, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mali.
During these meetings, he conveyed Araghchi’s message of friendship to his counterparts in Ouagadougou.
In his meeting with Yaou Sangaré, Khosravinejad expressed gratitude to Niger for its principled and courageous vote against an anti-Iranian resolution proposed by several European countries at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), describing it as a sign of the principled and anti-colonial policy of the government of the Republic of Niger.
He emphasized the principled policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to expand comprehensive relations with this friendly country in West Africa.
Also, in another meeting with Diop, Khosravinejad delivered an invitation from Araghchi, stressing Iran’s readiness to expand friendly relations and enhance economic exchanges with Mali.
