According to Khabaronline, an Iranian news agency, Al Jazeera reported on the letter, in which Araghchi stated that on Thursday and Friday, Iran witnessed violent acts and terrorism carried out by Daesh-affiliated groups.
He said: “Peaceful protests were hijacked by terrorist elements, and the situation turned into chaos.”
Araghchi noted that incidents of beheadings, burning people alive, and extensive use of firearms by terrorists have been recorded in recent events.
He emphasized: “We demand the condemnation of all terrorist acts committed by these groups.”
Araghchi added: “The claims made by the United States regarding support for human rights in Iran are misleading and shameful.”
The letter also states: “We call for opposition to all forms of foreign interference in Iran and for respect of its territorial integrity and national interests.”
