According to Khabaronline, an Iranian news agency, The statement said that G7 nations, influenced by the U.S. and the Zionist regime, are deliberately ignoring the clear fact that peaceful protests in Iran were violently escalated by organized terrorist elements armed and supported by the Israeli regime between December 8–10.
It cited explicit statements by U.S. and Israeli officials inciting violence and killing, along with security evidence, as proof of the direct role of the Israeli regime in arming and organizing armed terrorists, with U.S. support.
Iran reaffirmed its commitment to protecting citizens’ fundamental rights, including peaceful protest, while emphasizing its duty to safeguard national security, public order, and territorial integrity against foreign terrorism and external threats.
The ministry stressed that G7 countries, with their own record of severe human rights violations in the region and in their own countries, and their active support for or complicity in Israel’s genocide of Palestinians, lack any moral authority to judge Iran or make human rights claims.
It reminded the international community that the Iranian people will never forget the U.S., Germany, the UK, Canada, and others’ support for the Israeli military attack on Iran and the killing of hundreds of Iranians in May 2025.
Iran demands: G7 nations must stop their deceptive, interventionist statements, end their illegal and unjust sanctions, and refrain from misusing human rights concepts to justify interference, incitement, and terrorism in I ran.
