According to Khabaronline, an Iranian news agency, Referring to the nature of U.S. policies, Esmaeil Kosari stated that Satan stood against God and that Imam Khomeini, Iran’s late supreme leader, also called America the “Great Satan.” He claimed that today, the clear manifestation of this term is the U.S. President, Trump, and that one cannot expect good or logical speech from Satan.
He added that Trump always speaks with a sense of superiority and that his thinking is a satanic one, mixed with rudeness. Kosari asserted that Trump’s statements are made without calculation and are far from rationality; therefore, whatever he says returns to himself, and Iran sees no necessity to respond to such an individual.
The member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee stated that he feels sorry for the American nation for having such a president who, while claiming to manage the world, raises a new issue every day; one day speaking of seizing Greenland and another day claiming to seize Venezuela for its oil resources.
Kosari expressed hope that the nations of the world will stand against America with full insight and wipe this “blight of corruption” from the scene of existence.
Furthermore, referring to the calculus errors of the U.S. and the Israeli regime, he said that by the grace of God and through the continuous follow-ups of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, and close cooperation with the armed forces and responsible bodies including the Army, the IRGC, and the Ministry of Defense, the country enjoys a high level of readiness.
He noted that even the 12-day war was a valuable experience for the Iranian nation, especially the armed forces, who have reached a higher level of readiness today by identifying and resolving past weaknesses.
The member of the Parliament’s National Security Committee emphasised that if enemies commit an error and take aggressive action against the borders and territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, they will undoubtedly receive a lethal and deterrent blow.
Specifically, he warned that American bases in neighbouring countries and the West Asia region would be the main targets of heavy and formidable strikes, stating that the Islamic Republic of Iran has no reservations or “shyness” with anyone.
Kosari concluded by noting that in the event of a repeat of past mistakes, Iran’s encounter will go beyond the past, acting in a way that “the occupying regime of Quds” realises nothing will remain for it.
