Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, is expected to attend the third round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States in Geneva.

According to Khabaronline, An Iranian diplomat, commenting on reports regarding Grossi’s possible presence at the talks scheduled for Thursday, February 26, in Geneva, said that the IAEA chief will likely participate in this round of negotiations, similar to his attendance at the previous round held on Tuesday, February 18, in the Swiss city.

According to reports, the third round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States will take place this Thursday at the Omani Embassy in Geneva. The negotiations will be mediated by Badr Albusaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister.

The agenda of the indirect discussions includes Iran’s nuclear commitments, the lifting of sanctions by the opposing side, and areas of potential economic cooperation.

Tehran has stated that its red lines in the negotiations include formal recognition of Iran’s right to enrich uranium, conducting enrichment activities inside the country, and ensuring that existing enriched materials are not transferred abroad.
