Representatives from Iran, China and Pakistan have met in the Chinese capital Beijing for talks on security and counterterrorism.

The meeting was held on Wednesday, and marked the first trilateral talks between Iran, China and Pakistan on security and counterterrorism.

The Iranian delegation was led by Director General of the Foreign Ministry’s South Asia Affairs Rasoul Mousavi, who is also an assistant to the country’s foreign minister.
