Japan defeated Iran in straight sets (25-20, 25-18, and 25-18) on Saturday to win the title of the 2023 Asian Volleyball Championship.
Iran’s national squad had defeated Hong Kong (3-0), Iraq (3-1), Pakistan (3-0) and China (3-0) to book a place in the final match.
The competition was held in Urmia, Iran on August 19-26.
