Iran’s deputy foreign minister for international and legal affairs has expressed hope that “win-win outcome” would be achieved at the talks between Iran and the major powers in Istanbul, Turkey, on Friday and Saturday.

"We are hopeful that at the upcoming talks in Istanbul, the negotiating sides show goodwill and honesty, and a win-win outcome be achieved," Mohammad Mahdi Akhoundzadeh said in a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov on Tuesday.

He also said Iran has proved its honesty and the transparency in its nuclear activities, and according to the International Atomic Energy Agency's reports, there is no diversion in Iran's nuclear activities.

Sergei Ryabkov also said that positive results can be achieved in Istanbul through focusing on the common ground in a friendly atmosphere and based on mutual trust and respect.
