Acting Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi met with Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade on Tuesday in Dakar exchanging views about the issues facing the Islamic world and also talked over bilateral ties.

Salehi highlighted the importance of the two countries' relationship and called for expansion of economic ties.

He also announced that the two countries have so far signed 200 million dollars worth of economic deals.

Abdoulaye Wade also said that Tehran-Dakar relationship benefits both countries, calling for promotion of bilateral cooperation.

He again emphasized that Iran has the right to master nuclear technology peaceful applications.
