The parliamentary delegation will pay a four-day visit to Turkey next Sunday, said Mo’ayed Hosseini Sadr, the head of the Iran-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Sadr added that the six-member delegation will hold talks with the Turkish Parliament Speaker, Cemil Cicek, and Turkish lawmakers regarding bilateral parliamentary relations between Iran and Turkey as well as cultural issues.
In September, Cicek visited Tehran at the head of a high-ranking parliamentary delegation upon an invitation from his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani.
During his two-day trip, the Turkish parliament speaker discussed ways to bolster Tehran-Ankara relations as well as the recent developments in the region with senior Iranian officials, including President Hassan Rouhani.
