President Rouhani plans to take part in WEF, which is the biggest and most important global annual economic meeting.
Iranian president's advisor Mohammad Reza Sadeq said on Tuesday that the Iranian president will attend the meeting as a special guest and is slated to hold meetings with leaders and senior officials of the participating countries.
Sadeq went on to say that President Rouhani is also scheduled to attend interviews with international news networks and media.
The visit will be Rouhani's first European trip since taking office in August 2013.
This year’s annual summit aims to develop the insights, initiatives and actions necessary to respond to current and emerging challenges.
