Safari said President Rouhani's visit to China is scheduled to be done in the next two months.
He further stressed that the Iranian Embassy in Beijing is making necessary arrangements for President Rouhani's trip to this country.
Safari underlined that the new Iranian government attaches great importance to expansion of all-out ties with China, adding that China is considered as Iran's first trade partner.
According to reports, Tehran-Beijing trade transactions currently stand at $40bln, while the figure could reach $60bln next year.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is currently China's third largest supplier of crude, providing roughly 12 percent of China’s annual oil consumption.
