"The country's redlines are its interests and should be regarded in the nuclear negotiations, meaning that the Iranian youth should be able to make unlimited progress and advancement in area of civilian nuclear technology and there shouldn't be any impediment to the country's utilization of its peaceful nuclear capabilities," Amoli Larijani said, addressing high-ranking Judiciary officials in a weekly meeting here in Tehran on Wednesday.
Iran and the world powers ended over two weeks of negotiations in Vienna on Saturday with no final agreement between the two sides which was due to be reached before the July 20 deadline.
During the talks, a senior member of the Iranian team of negotiators stressed that the excessive demands made by the other side are the root cause of the differences between Tehran and the world powers.
At the end of their talks on Friday, the two sides agreed to extend the negotiations till November 24 for brokering a final deal.
Elsewhere, Amoli Larijani condemned the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians, and said, "This is the modern barbarism that the injured people in the hospitals are targeted and then they (the Israelis) claim that they have come under attack from those hospital."
He lashed out at the western and Arab countries and the international bodies for keeping mum about the massacre of the Palestinian people, and said, "They seem to be blind to these huge crimes and support them."
Israel has been pounding the blockaded Gaza for 16 consecutive days, killing at least 670 people and injuring more than 4,000 others.
According to the UN, 77% of the victims in Gaza are civilian and defenseless people.
