Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganahon on Tuesday warned about environmental consequences of illegal sanctions against sovereign states.

Speaking at the 10th International Energy Conference, he noted that illegal sanctions against independent states imposed great sufferings upon people and risked their life.
