For the first time, representatives of all screened films in competitive section of FIFF will visit Tehran to participate in the festival.
According to the Public Relations Office of the 33rd Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF), 30 international filmmakers, actors, and producers of the submitted films in two competitive sections of the festival “Salvation Cinema” (world cinema) and “East Panorama” (Asian Cinema) will attend Q&A sessions on their respective films.
The international filmmakers will have a number of joint meetings and sessions with Iranian directors.
This is the first time that all the submitted films in competitive section of FIFF are sending their representatives to Tehran.
Their attendance will create an opportunity for national and international film critics and press representatives to have dialogues with the filmmakers.
The 33rd FIFF will be held from April 25 to May 2, 2015 in Tehran. Over 300 films have been submitted to the festival from various countries including Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Britain, Ireland, USA, Belgium, Italy and Turkey.
This is the first year that international section of FIFF will be held separately from the national section.
