Some following up suspicious nuclear projects in region: Iran

Ali Shamkhani made the remarks while speaking at a local gathering in northwestern Iranian city of Orumiyeh, West Azarbaijan Province.

Shamkhani described such measures taken by certain countries as a threat to the region, saying the threat could be more dangerous and critical than the Takfiri terrorists and Daesh (ISIS).

Iran, undoubtedly, will formulate its strategies based on the nature and new geography of the threats, he added.

He went on to say that Iran has under its constant surveillance all the moves by the enemies, the wicked countries in the West Asia region and those who have black record on supporting the terrorists.

Although the enemies are busily waging an economic and psychological war against Iran, the country has already planned to focus on the Revolution ideology to make the enemies disappointed.

Next year (Iranian Calendar starting March21)* will be the year of new victories in the country to solve people’s problems and in the region to strengthen the axis of resistance, Shamkhani said in reference to Nowruz which literally means the News Day, marking the beginning of spring. 

The next year will also be the strong start to the implementation of the roadmap for the second phase of Revolution, the official noted.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei issued a statement in mid February on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution.

'Among all the nations suffering from oppression, few make an effort to launch a revolution; and among those nations that have risen and launched a revolution, few have been witnessed to have pursued it to the end, or moved beyond merely changing the government and safeguarded their revolutionary values,” the statement said.

Elsewhere in his speech, Shamkhani talked of the regional situation and the Zionist regime of Israel’s consecutive defeats, saying the regime which was after domination over the region from Nile to the Euphrates is now besieged by its fake borders. 

“And, officials of the regime scared of the Resistance missiles cannot rest soundly.”
