Israel has no right to be member of intl. women right forums

The Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said that the Zionist regime is not qualified to be any part of human rights forums and international mechanisms related to the rights of women and children.

Naser Kan'ani wrote on his social account that according to UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) at least 165 employees of this agency have been killed in the attacks of the Zionist regime since the beginning of the Gaza war.

He mentioned that more than 150 centers belonging to UNRWA, such as schools, have been bombed, some of which have been destroyed, adding that more than 400 Palestinians have been killed in UN-affiliated centers in Gaza while searching for safe places.

He continued that a regime that does not value international humanitarian organizations and their missions and services, and even the lives of their employees, and has killed about 9,000 Palestinian women and 12,500 children in the last 5 months has no right to be a member of any human rights assemblies and international mechanisms related to women's and children's rights.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.

Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed at least 31,000 Palestinians and injured more than 72,000 others.

The Israeli military has restricted the delivery of humanitarian supplies to northern Gaza for weeks, and thousands of children are going without sufficient food and medication.

The prevention of aid convoys comes as humanitarian officials have already issued a dire warning, stating that unless a ceasefire is implemented and aid is significantly increased, the toll of malnutrition and disease is expected to rise, leading to an alarming loss of lives.
