Pezeshkian urged a revision in the government’s approach to citizens, including critics of the administration and even those previously seen as opponents, noting that many stood by Iran during the imposed war. The president called on officials to try to preserve the national unity and solidarity created between the people and the government.
“We must recognize and appreciate the serious and effective contributions of the people, non-governmental organizations, and all sectors—public and private—throughout the war,” he said.
Commending all government agencies for their nation-building efforts, Pezeshkian urged managers and officials to focus their energy on resolving the people’s problems.
Pezeshkian requested that ministers and senior managers present reports on their wartime actions and achievements to the media. “The government’s efforts during the war—which ensured the continuity of everyday life—must be properly conveyed to the people,” he added.
