Phone Conversation Between the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Egypt

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Foreign Minister, held a telephone conversation on Saturday afternoon, during which they discussed bilateral relations and regional developments.

According to Khabaronline, the two foreign ministers reviewed the state of bilateral ties and agreed to continue their talks with the aim of expanding relations between the two countries.

The ministers also discussed the latest regional developments, particularly the situation in Lebanon and Gaza amid the ongoing aggression and repeated ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime. Both sides underscored the urgent need for the international community to take immediate action to halt the regime’s crimes.

The Iranian nuclear issue was also raised during the call, with Iran’s foreign minister outlining the country’s views on the matter.
