Since Donald Trump took office, his administration has sanctioned more than 180 vessels responsible for transporting Iranian crude oil and refined petroleum products.
The latest measures cover ships used to carry Iranian crude oil and various petroleum products, including fuel oil, bitumen, naphtha, and gas condensates.
The vessels are owned by a network of companies operating across multiple jurisdictions, many of which were established primarily to own and manage the ships involved.
