According to Khabaronline, an Iranian news agency, Fidan stated: “The instability Israel is orchestrating will lead to insecurity in the region. Turkey is working to ensure peace and security.”
He noted that U.S. and Zionist regime provocations in the region, including rhetoric against Tehran, are of concern. As a friendly and neighboring country, Turkey closely follows developments in Iran.
Fidan said: “We hope that the differences between the U.S. and Iran will be resolved through dialogue. We are against any military solution. We will not tolerate the use of violence against Iran.”
He stressed that Turkey will continue pursuing diplomatic approaches and prioritizes avoiding destabilization.
He pointed out that U.S. sanctions and Donald Trump’s policies have created economic and other challenges for Iran. “We oppose military intervention in Iran. Iran’s internal issues must be resolved by Iran itself.”
Fidan added that some countries with hostility toward Iran are attempting to exploit the situation for negative interference.
Regarding Trump’s threat of new tariffs on Iran, Fidan said: “This statement about our friendly country, Iran, requires a presidential response.”
He expressed hope that the situation in Iran calms quickly, stability returns, and tensions do not escalate.
