According to KhabarOnline, In a post on his X account, Gharibabadi wrote that during a joint meeting with the ambassadors of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China, they discussed the latest developments related to the nuclear talks in Geneva, as well as several bilateral issues. He added that the three countries, within the framework of their strategic relations, will continue their close consultations and coordination on important matters.
Separately, the ambassadors of Iran, Russia, and China to the international organizations based in Vienna met on Wednesday (February 17) with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to discuss developments related to Iran’s peaceful nuclear program. In a joint meeting with Grossi, the three ambassadors exchanged views on the upcoming meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors and recent developments concerning Iran’s nuclear activities.
During the meeting, the ambassadors presented a joint letter to the IAEA chief, reflecting their shared positions and emphasizing their coordinated engagement on these issues.
The meeting took place one day after the second round of nuclear negotiations in Geneva, during which the IAEA Director General also held consultations with both the Iranian and U.S. delegations regarding the progress of the talks.
