Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, made a surprise visit on Thursday to the quake-stricken villages in East Azarbaijan Province.
The Leader expressed condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in the quake. The quake which happened on Saturday left more than 300 people dead and over 2000 injured.
