Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has said that Africa is the land of developing opportunities.

Amirabdollahian, who is accompanying President Ebrahim Raisi on a tour to three African countries, wrote on his Twitter account that the young population and good and warm-hearted people have turned this continent into a land of developing opportunities.

Africa is determined to maintain political independence, Amirabdollahian wrote, adding that Africa's diverse market provides an important ground for ​​cooperation.

Heading a delegation, President Raisi arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, on Wednesday morning and was officially welcomed by his Kenyan counterpart William Samoei Ruto. Raisi will also visit Uganda and Zimbabwe.
