Mirziyoyev is visiting Tehran on Sunday at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart President Ebrahim Raisi.
The welcome ceremony for the Uzbek president is to be held at the Saadabad Cultural and Historical Complex in northern Tehran later in the day.
Mirziyoyev is to hold talks with President Raisi and to co-chair high-ranking delegations meeting.
The two sides will also sign cooperation agreements before they attend a joint press conference.
