On the second week of the Volleyball League of Nations on Tuesday, the Iranian national squad faced Germany in the city of Rotterdam, Netherlands, where it humiliated its European rival 3-0.
Iran defeated Germany in three straight sets (25-23; 26-24; 25-16).
With this victory, Iran achieved its second win in the Volleyball Nations League.
Earlier, the Iranian national team had managed to defeat China in the first week of the competition.
Behrouz Ataei’s men will compete with Italy on Wednesday.
The fourth edition of the tournament is underway with the presence of the top 16 teams from around the world.
Only eight teams will make it to Gdansk, Poland for the final round slated for July 19-23, 2023.
