Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has departed for Belarus to hold talks with Belarusian officials on matters of mutual interest, including bilateral cooperation.

During his two-day visit, Salehi will confer with his Belarusian counterpart and other officials on bilateral relations as well as ways to expand cooperation.

Political consultations on regional and international developments are also on the agenda of talks between Salehi and Belarusian officials.

Bilateral trade between Iran and Belarus has significantly expanded as the two countries have been cooperating in many areas including in technical and engineering projects.
