Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi has announced Tehran’s readiness to offer its defense achievements and capabilities to other countries.


Vahidi said on Saturday that Iran’s capabilities are at a level that has made the Islamic Republic self-sufficient in defending the country and its resources, adding that Tehran can also provide other countries with its achievements.

Vahidi added that last year the Defense Ministry was able to produce a wide variety of military weaponry and equipment in the fields of missile technology, electronics, optics, and aerospace.

Vahidi said one of the duties of the Defense Ministry in the current year is providing state of the art weapons and equipments according to the most advanced technologies.

In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in the defense sector and gained self-sufficiency in essential military hardware and defense systems.
