The announcement was made by Ramezan-Ali Sobhanifar, the head of the Iranian parliamentary friendship group with Russia, on Saturday.
The visit will take place in response to a previous visit by a Russian parliamentary delegation to Iran, said Sobhanifar.
In February, a four-member high-ranking delegation from Russia’s lower house of parliament, the State Duma, travelled to Iran in order to meet with Iranian officials.
Sobhanifar pointed to several visits by the parliamentary delegations of different countries to Iran and said that Majlis plans to arrange similar visits to other countries in line with its policy of expanding international parliamentary ties.
Last week, an eight-member team from the European Parliament travelled to Iran to hold talks with the officials of the Islamic Republic.
