Claassen said the recent nuclear agreement signed by Iran and Group5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany) in Geneva has provided a suitable opportunity for export of spare parts for Iranian passenger planes, the Islamic republic news agency reported.
He pointed out that, although the barriers to export of aircraft parts to Iran have not been lifted, but Airbus is determined to increase volume of aircraft parts for Iranian passenger planes.
Claassen further added that a delegation from Airbus Company is now visiting Iran to provide Iranian pilots and crews with the most updated training courses.
