Iranian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance announced that the country’s oil revenues during the last Iranian calendar year (ended March 20, 2014) rose by 43 percent in comparison with a year earlier.

Statistics published by Economic Department of the ministry showed that the country’s oil revenues stood at 609.4 trillion rials (Iranian currency) in the last year in comparison with 425, 53 trillion rials a year earlier, the oil ministry's website reported.

The figures also showed that tax and public incomes rose respectively 25 percent and 39 percent year on year.
