Reza Khorram, the son of Homayoun Khorram, said ten melodies composed by his father have never been released before, according to Saturdayˈs edition of the English-language paper ˈIran Dailyˈ.
“These are based on poems by Houshang Ebtehaj and Bijan Taraqqi. They will be released in an album after we find a qualified vocalist,” he said.
He also noted that some of Khorram’s memorabilia will be donated to the Music Museum to be displayed for enthusiasts.
Khorram was an Iranian musician, composer, violinist, and a former member of the High Council of Iran’s House of Music.
During his career, specially as soloist and composer in the famous radio musical program ‘Golha’, Khorram composed a variety of songs for distinguished vocalists such as Hossein Ghavami and Mohammad Reza Shajarian.
