“Undoubtedly, the bloods shed in the front of awakening the Islamic Ummah have provided the ground more than ever for wiping out the Zionist regime,” Sharif said in Tehran on Monday.
He called on the Muslim states to grow more united, and said that the Islamic countries should desist from provoking rifts and use all their capacities to fight the child-killing Zionist regime and foil the hegemonic and arrogant powers’ plots, instead.
Last Sunday, an Israeli helicopter struck Quneitra in Syria's Golan Heights, killing Iranian military advisor Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Allahdadi as well as the son of slain Hezbollah top commander Imad Mughniyeh and 4 other Hezbollah members.
Commander of Iran’s Basij (volunteer) Force Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi also underscored earlier today that the last Sunday Israeli attack that killed a number of Hezbollah members and an Iranian military adviser in Syria justified striking painful blows at the Zionist regime.
"Martyrdom of Allahdadi meant an order to set the holy Quds free and a permission for giving a proper response to the Zionist regime," Naqdi said in Tehran.
"His martyrdom again proved that the Takfiris are the military wing of the Zionist regime and displayed the US asymmetric warfare against the Islamic Ummah," he added.
Naqdi warned the Zionists that they would soon be forced to leave the occupied Palestinian territories, and said, "They will not experience tranquility, these bloods will not remain without a response and they should remain fully alerted until complete annihilation of the Zionist regime."
Also yesterday, Deputy Commander of the IRGC for Political Affairs Brigadier General Rasoul Sanayee Raad said the Takfiri terrorist groups in Syria provided the Israeli spy agency with the intelligence that it needed for its last Sunday attack.
"With the intelligence provided by the terrorist groups and the Takfiri forces to Israeli spy agency, the ground was paved for the martyrdom of Hezbollah forces while on a mission in Quneitra region in Syria by the Zionist regime," Sanayee Raad told FNA.
"The incident well reveals the resistance's support for Bashar al-Assad on one hand, and partnership between the opposition Takfiri grouplets and the Zionist regime on the other hand," he added.
"This was the first time that an Iranian General was martyred by the fake Zionist regime, and this provides further legitimacy for the cause of campaign against the Zionist regime," Sanayee Raad said.
Several state and military officials in Tehran as well as the Lebanese movement have vowed a crushing response to the Israeli attack.
In relevant remarks on Thursday, Lieutenant Commander of the IRGC Brigadier General Hossein Salami stressed that the Israeli air raid was the result of the US and the Zionist regime's continued failures in the region, and warned Israel to wait for a crushing response.
“This action (the Israeli attack) was the reflection of numerous defeats that both Americans and Israelis have suffered in their current strategies,” he said.
Salami said their failure in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen and Bahrain made them understand that their existence was on the decline.
“They have seen IRGC’s reactions before, and (therefore) they are worried, and they will witness destructive thunderbolts in practice,” he said.
“They (Israeli officials) should be waiting for crushing responses,” Salami said.
Also on Tuesday, Commander of the IRGC Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari warned Tel Aviv of the devastating response of the regional resistance movements to Israel.
“The IRGC will remain steadfast on the path to the collapse of the Zionist regime of Israel through its continued support for the Lebanese and Palestinian combatants, but this time it supports will be on a scale larger than its supports during the 33-day and 51-day wars against the Israeli army,” General Jafari said in a message released on the occasion of the martyrdom of Allahdadi.
The Iranian top commander said resistance groups in the region would soon give a crushing response to Israel's Sunday raid.
“The Zionists must wait for the devastating thunderbolts of the anti-Israel resistance groups in the region," the Iranian commander warned.
Also, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for Logistics Major General Mostafa Izadi underlined on Wednesday that the Israelis were and should be deeply worried about the crushing response that they would receive for killing several Hezbollah members and the Iranian military adviser in Syria.
"They thought that they will a get good result, but now they know that they will receive a crushing response and because fear and fright is intermingled with their nature, they make these remarks (that they weren’t aware of the veteran Iranian commander's presence among those martyred in Israeli air raid in Syria on Sunday). Muslim fighters will take a firm and powerful revenge for the blood of these martyrs," Izadi said in Tehran.
Izadi said that the assassination occurred in Syria which is not directly in war with Israel and their attack was carried out on purpose "and the Zionists' remarks are only desperate propaganda".
He also stressed that Iran merely played an advisory role in Syria.
