President Rouhani made the remarks in a meeting with university lecturers in Tehran on Tuesday.
Under such circumstances in which insecurity and instability have engulfed the region, countries in the region should exercise vigilance in dealing with developments, Rouhani said.
The country’s youths should not distance with technological developments and should make themselves ready to walk in line with technological advancements instead, he said.
Role of universities in the country's success and future of the Islamic revolution is very vital, he said.
