Minister of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zanganeh says Iranian oil industry is developing despite enemy's unprecedented pressures.

'Iranian oil industry is developing despite enemy's unprecedented pressures and huge steps have been taken in this field,' said Zangeneh in ceremonies marking opening of executive operations for a petrochemical project.

He said Amercians have been trying to prevent Iran oil sales and money transfer and blocking Iranian banking system and they could not do anything at the time the sanctions were in their climax.

Elsewhere in his address, Zangeneh said oil industry projects worth $6.5 billion are implemented on domestic resources.

He said this year, 100 million cubic meters were added to national gas capacity which is a big move.

He added that Iranian petrochemical industry is getting a big development because next year Iran will be able to meet feedstock for petrochemical projects for the first time.
