Speaking in a live TV program, Qasemi said the two counties would establish a joint venture for carry out the project.
He hailed his meeting with senior Iraqi officials in Baghdad, noting that the projects would be jointly carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways and Iraqi Republic Railways and that the joint venture would be formed within two months.
Elaborating on the prospects of economic relations between Iran and Iraq, he said Iranian companies would increase their participation in reconstruction of Iraq.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Qasemi said that the two countries would boost flights two-fold.
