Project of isolating Iran failed: govt. spox.

The project of isolating Iran has failed, the Iranian government spokesman said, referring to Ebrahim Raeisi's presence at the annual meeting of the 77th UN General Assembly.

"Iran's president is giving a speech at the UN this year, while the project of isolating Iran has failed," The spokesperson of the Iranian government wrote on his X account.

The volume of the country's commercial exchanges has increased, Iran's blocked assets have been released, Iran has become a member of Shanghai and BRICS and Albania has recognized the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) as a terrorist group," Ali Bahadori-Jahromi said in reference to the government's achievements.

He also emphasized that the Zionist regime is going through a severe crisis in the history of its formation.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi left Tehran for New York on September 18 to deliver a speech at the 77th United Nations General Assembly session about the Islamic Republic's stance on the “fair international order through economic multilateralism.”

He is also scheduled to hold talks with heads of state attending the events as well as international figures.

This trip is being held at the invitation of the Secretary General of the United Nations, said Raeisi before leaving the country.

Saying that he will hold talks with leaders of some countries, he noted, "In this trip, there are no plans to negotiate or meet with the Americans, and we have no plans to meet with them."

President considered attending this meeting as an opportunity to express the rational and logical views of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
