Iranian parliament chairman of the Plannig and Budget Commission Hamidreza Hajibabaei set off for Moscow at the head of a high-ranking parliamentary delegation in an official invitation of the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Upon his arrival to Moscow on Sunday, Hajibabaei said that Iran-Russia strategic ties have led the delegations of the two countries to hold regular negotiations and consultations at various levels, including the parliamentary level.

Referring to the main goals of his trip to Russia, he underlined that they will meet and discuss the heads of the budget commissions of the State Duma, the Council of the Russian Federation, as well as Russian economic officials in the fields of economies and budget.

Iranian parliament delegation was welcomed by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia Kazem Jalali at the Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, Russia.
