Iran, Russia agree to cooperate on enhancing multilateralism

Deputy foreign ministers of Iran and Russia have discussed bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the need for more interaction between the two sides and enhancing multilateralism.

Iran’s Ali Bagheri Kani and Russia’s Sergey Ryabkov held their talks in Moscow on Thursday.

The two specifically stressed the need for bilateral cooperation to help promote peace and security at the international level at a time when certain countries are acting unilaterally and in violation of human rights.
