Iran to expand wound care clinics using plasma by July 2024

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Mohammad Eslami, announced that the number of healing centers that use plasma to treat wounds will increase to 50 by July 2024.

This expansion will be marked on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the AEOI on July 7, 1974, Eslami announced on Monday at an opening ceremony of the first batch of clinics to treat wounds through plasma in three cities of Varamin, Qom, and Karaj, which are near Tehran.

Eslami also stated that plasma technology will be developed significantly in the field of the fight against cancer.

The AEOI, in cooperation with Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, has a plan to launch a laboratory in which plasma technology will be employed.

Along with conducting its related missions, the AEOI follows various technological activities like what it did today.
