Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari made the remarks during an inspection of a missile unit in central Iran on Wednesday.

He said that the Army Ground Force has always attached importance to the development of missile units as part of its agenda to improve combat readiness and defensive capabilities.

Emphasizing the need for the reinforcement of the Army's missile units, he noted that it will unveil and make operational two advanced types of ground-based and air-based missiles in the near future.

Pointing to the constant advancements of the Army Ground Forces in upgrading the missile sector, the commander said that the Army Ground Force is capable of responding to any sort of missile threat at any time and location.
